Security Officer X Ray Screening Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Observe package handling and transportation activity for security-related concerns and promptly report suspicious activity, property damage, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
