As a Security Officer X Ray Screening Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. This part-time, unarmed patrol role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and potential security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with managing entry for authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.25 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
