As a Security Officer X Ray Screening Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry and exit points, warehouse perimeters, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
