Job Description

As a Security Officer - Weekend Patrol Operations in USA Parkway, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain access control points, verify authorized entry credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
