As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide welcoming customer service. Schedule

Part Time | Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour | Daytime: Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Support a professional environment by providing directions, answering questions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
