Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will deliver strong customer service and communication while working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with school administration and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Assist with routine security-related presence during school operations, special events, arrival and dismissal periods, and/or after-hours activity as directed by site needs.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour
Schedule: Saturday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Sunday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
