Security Officer Weekend Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in San Bernardino, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and responding to site needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading docks, trailer yards, warehouse areas, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, drivers, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and visitor or vehicle activity through required reports and communication channels.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
