Security Officer Visitor Welcome Services

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be a welcoming, highly visible presence at a professional office location in Madison, NJ. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, respond to inquiries, and communicate clearly with clients and team members. This is a part-time position offering flexibility to build a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage front-desk access, greet visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and direct guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, maintain visitor logs, and support front-desk communications in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification.
• Customer service experience.

Pay

$19.57 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
