What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points and perform screening of people, bags, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with location protocols for a fast-paced technology-focused environment.
- Verify identification, credentials, and/or visitor authorizations while documenting unusual activity, policy violations, and/or incidents for follow-up.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to entrances, loading areas, screening stations, and other sensitive locations.
Minimum Requirements
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
