As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and/or authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle-entry records; issue and recover access credentials as directed by site policy.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
