About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in El Paso, TX, you will welcome visitors, support access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your professional presence and clear communication will help create a secure, welcoming environment. A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals according to site requirements.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and applicable security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident records while communicating professionally with site contacts, employees, and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$15.50 / hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Day shift: 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM, Monday through Friday
