Security Officer Visitor Registration

About the role

As a Security Officer Visitor Registration in Calhoun, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and badge access, and respond to access control and alarm-related activity. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges, maintain access logs, and help control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or policy concerns
• Document incidents, access-control activities, and relevant observations accurately and communicate concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Skills

• Customer service experience is preferred
• Alarm panel experience is preferred
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• A guard card or license is preferred

Pay & Schedule

Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $11.41 / Hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
