Job Description

As a Security Officer Visitor Credentialing in Beech Island, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location, where you will monitor entry points, manage access control and badge activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong customer service to help to deter incidents while assisting staff, patients, and visitors.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry permissions, and supporting security-related protocols at a healthcare location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Assist with badge checks, visitor sign-in processes, and reporting requirements while maintaining professionalism and attention to customer service needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
