As a Security Officer Visitor Credential Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Maintain accurate access-control logs and report unusual activity, policy violations, or security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Qualifications
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
