About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Maintain a visible presence, provide directions and assistance, and follow post orders for assigned areas.
  • Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Weekly Pay: $17.00 / Hour.
  • Job Schedule: Day, Time, Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sat 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM.

Schedule

  • Day, Time, Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sat 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM.
