Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry and/or visitor processing requirements.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or visitors regarding post instructions, access procedures, and security-related activity while maintaining professional presence and awareness.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
