Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor assigned areas for policy compliance, assist with crowd and line management during busy business periods, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or property-related issues to the appropriate site representative.
• Support closing and opening activities as assigned, observe deliveries and vendor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior within the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
