About the role
As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Graniteville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as automotive. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
CPR certification is preferred.
