Security Officer Unarmed - Weekends 3rd Shift

About the role

Award-winning Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed - Weekends 3rd Shift in Savannah, GA. This position involves monitoring and patrolling aerospace and defense facilities, buildings, and areas to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and support access control activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and preparing required reports.
• Observe and report irregular conditions, potential hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Must be 19+ years of age for this role.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must have 1+ years of security experience.
• Must have great customer service skills.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Skills

• Computer or tablet proficiency is preferred.
