About the role

Award-winning Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed - Weekends 1st Shift in Savannah, GA. This position supports an aerospace and defense location, requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established protocols.
• Conduct routine and random unarmed patrols of aircraft-adjacent areas, facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents and monitor access control points.
• Verify authorized entry according to site-specific procedures and escalate unusual activity or access concerns.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the job state.
• Must have great customer service skills.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of security experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of access control systems.
