Security Officer - Unarmed Weekends

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Phoenix, AZ, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming, orderly environment while working with integrity and teamwork in Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, workplace concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vendor traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 / Hour

• Part Time
• Saturday: 02:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 AM - 02:00 PM
