Security Officer Unarmed - Weekends Patrol

About the Role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in Tempe, AZ, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with staff and visitors, report security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$25.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
