Security Officer Unarmed - Weekends 2nd Shift

About the role

Award-winning Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed - Weekends 2nd Shift in Savannah, GA. This position involves conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment for clients in the aerospace and defense industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft support areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a secure environment.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
• Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age for this role.
• Must have 1+ years of security experience.
• Must have great customer service skills.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
