Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, patrol, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client site procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position).
• At least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Pay

$22.28 per hour.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Night shifts: 10:45 PM – 07:15 AM, Monday through Thursday.
