About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location in Osprey, FL. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist guests and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, members, residents, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of resort grounds, amenities, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain communication with site management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
