Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location in Henderson, CO. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support smooth daily operations through strong communication and customer service. You will bring a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach to people, property, and security-related concerns throughout your assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery traffic, verifying credentials, following post orders, and reporting access issues or policy violations.
• Observe site operations and report damaged gates, lighting issues, unsecured doors, and/or other conditions that could affect security-related operations at the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
