Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Lexington, KY. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor entry requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate shift information to support consistent security-related operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).li>
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

$17.63 / hour

• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
