As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and loss. You will use computer or tablet tools to support badge access and reporting while providing outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
Maintain orderly entry and exit processes by monitoring access to the location, verifying visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
