What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in alignment with site-specific expectations.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders as needed regarding alarms, disturbances, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
