About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Response Driver in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while representing Allied Universal’s values: agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and driver credentials in accordance with site procedures, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, damaged property, access-control concerns, and other security-related incidents to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activities and incidents according to site-specific reporting procedures.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Pay

$15.24 / hour

Schedule

  • Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
  • Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
  • Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
  • Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
