Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Response Driver

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, and document relevant activity.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$22.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shift on Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Day shift on Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
