As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol (Part‑Time) in Bridgewater, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as food and beverage, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant security‑related information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Requirements

• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
