Security Officer Unarmed Patrol with Active Clearance

About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking a Part‑Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) with an active DoD TS‑SCI clearance to provide security services at a technology‑focused location in Chantilly, VA. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials per site policy, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports.
• Maintain a visible professional presence while supporting a respectful environment for personnel and visitors; work conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

• Active DoD TS‑SCI clearance.
• Guard card or license (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
