About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol with Active Clearance in California, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense and more. You will support a dynamic aerospace and defense location by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site policies; maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive operational information.
Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
