About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Rover in FOREST, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control, alarm response, and incident reporting functions while working in environments that may include indoor processing spaces, loading areas, and outdoor patrol routes.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Access control and badge experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
