Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Position

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Position in Mableton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and/or visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, check credentials, and assist with visitor entry processes in line with site protocols, helping to support authorized access throughout the location.
• Observe and report operational issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity while maintaining a visible presence and providing professional interaction with employees, contractors, and guests.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
