About the Role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Computer Operations in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role provides exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to assigned areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries, deliveries, and/or incidents in accordance with site procedures.
- Communicate observations, hazards, equipment concerns, and security-related incidents promptly to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as directed.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$22.75 / Hour

- Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
