Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and help to deter incidents through a visible presence. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Day shift: Saturday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Night shift: Sunday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
