About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Readiness in Lawnside, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This role supports a people-first culture through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service while helping maintain an orderly environment.

At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and document security-related observations per site procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay

$18.91 / hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Day shifts: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
