As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Support in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to riders, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, transit facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public spaces; assist with access control and direct individuals to appropriate resources when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
