About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Saint Paul, MN, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and routine inquiries, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Help protect property and support a professional environment by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and potential hazards to site management.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
