As a Security Officer Armed Patrol - Days in Findlay, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. At a chemical and petrochemical location, an Armed Security Officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. This role calls for integrity, teamwork, and sound judgment while responding to site needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials, vehicle authorization, and visitor requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour
• Schedule: Day Time, Monday through Friday, 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
