About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with staff and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to support controlled entry to financial services operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
Requirements
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
