Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Experience

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a luxury retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for clients and team members. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the luxury retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter areas, while observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for employees, vendors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related incidents.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.52 / hour

• Friday: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM - 09:30 PM
