About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Monitor in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and using technology to document observations while assisting visitors and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, reporting observations and completing required documentation.
• Support the orderly movement of personnel, vehicles, and shipments while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.00 / hour

• Day/Time: Monday – Friday, 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
