Security Officer Unarmed - Site Monitor

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Site Monitor in Darlington, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and provide professional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience
• Valid driver's license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Access control and badge experience preferred
• Alarm panel experience preferred

Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour
Schedule: Day Time Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
