As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in South Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, driver, and contractor authorization in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and report security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
