Security Officer Unarmed Foot Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Panel Patrol in Florence, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and alarm response. This role provides exceptional customer service and communication as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.74 per hour.

• Thursday: 01:15 PM - 09:15 PM
• Friday: 01:15 PM - 09:15 PM
• Saturday: 01:15 PM - 09:15 PM
