Security Officer Unarmed Experienced Full Time

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Route Monitor in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and leadership while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Monday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Tuesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sunday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
