What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout facility buildings, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff information for Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
